This is the time of year deer go crazy. It's their mating season, which is why it's a particularly dangerous time of year on the roads. How crazed do deer get? Here's a security camera video that caught a deer crashing through a window of a bank in Livingston on Monday.

So when you're driving, try to pay extra attention. Keep your speed in check if you're in an area known for deer. Use your high beams if you won't be blinding another driver. If a deer does run into your path, never swerve. It's better to take the hit than lose control of your car and risk hitting something less forgiving than a deer.

It still hasn't happened to me, but I've come close. Ever wonder what it's like to hit one? Check out this compilation of dashcam footage offering a perfect POV look at how scary it is to hit a deer.
