Christie support slips in latest poll
Gov. Chris Christie will be on the stage for the Republican debate tonight at the Reagan Library in California, but the latest CBS/New York Times poll finds him now tied for 11th in the crowded GOP field with just 1 percent support among likely voters.
Jeb Bush has also fallen from front-runner to also ran at 6 percent.
At the top, two men who have never held elected office - Donald Trump and Ben Carson. Trump continues to be the leader of the pack at 27 percent support. Carson is at 23 percent, a big jump from when the poll was last taken in mid-July and Carson polled at 6 percent support.
Carly Fiorina is also moving up in the polls.
