
4 South Jersey creeps caught in undercover sting, prosecutors say
⚠️ Four South Jersey men were arrested after an undercover detective posed as an underage girl online.
➡️ Prosecutors say each suspect arranged to meet the "girl" in Brooklawn for sexual activity.
🔴 The men face multiple charges, including attempted child luring and attempted sexual assault.
BROOKLAWN — Detectives say they arrested four men, one by one, as they showed up to meet an underage girl for sex.
The men from Gloucester and Camden counties were fooled by an undercover sting that spanned months, Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay announced on Tuesday.
A CCPO detective posed online as an underage girl while talking to each of the four men, MacAulay said. Prosecutors said each man agreed to meet with the "girl" for sexual activity at a meeting place in Brooklawn, where they were arrested and taken to the Camden County jail. Three of the men are also accused of agreeing to pay between $80 and $200 for the favors.
The crimes each man is charged with are as follows:
Richard Williamson, 69, of Sewell, was arrested on March 13. Williamson is charged with attempted child luring, attempted sexual assault of a minor, and attempted prostitution with a minor, all second-degree offenses. He's also charged with third-degree attempted child endangerment and two counts of engaging in prostitution.

Daniel Henderson Jr., 38, of Lindenwold, was also arrested on March 13 and charged with attempted child luring, attempted sexual assault of a minor, and attempted prostitution with a minor, all second-degree offenses, plus third-degree attempted child endangerment and two counts of engaging in prostitution.

Gilbert Wylen, 69, of Audubon, was arrested on June 23. Wylen is charged with attempted child luring, attempted sexual assault of a minor, and attempted prostitution with a minor, all second-degree offenses. He's also charged with third-degree attempted criminal sexual contact of a minor, third-degree attempted child endangerment, and two counts of engaging in prostitution.

Theodore Haviland, 52, of Woodbury Heights, was also arrested June 23. Haviland is charged with second-degree attempted child luring, second-degree attempted sexual assault of a minor, and third-degree attempted child endangerment.
