Auto body shop burned by fire in Cinnaminson
CINNAMINSON — A fire at an auto body shop closed down lanes and continued to caused long delays on Route 73 during the Monday morning commute.
The fire at Michael's Auto Body on the Cinnaminson-Maple Shade line caused long backups on the northbound side as firefighters blocked off two of three lanes of traffic through the area, mostly filled by businesses. As of about 8:30, the road blockages continued.
Video and pictures posted to social media show thick black smoke pouring into the air from the garage that is fully engulfed in flames.
A propane stone is located next door to Michael's.
Cinnaminson Police said they did not know if there were any injuries from the fire.
It's the second reported fire in New Jersey this morning. A two-alarm fire burned a three-story home in Bradley Beach.
