“Anakin” is in the top 1000 Baby Names

Apparently, parents of the budding Jedis don’t remember that Anakin turns out to be a pretty bad guy. Anakin is now 957th on the male name list in the US, with as many Anakins as there were Emmetts and Trumans. Luke is a lot more popular (28th) and Leia is marginally more popular (509th among girls). Greedo and Palpatine are not on the list. Game of Thrones is also represented by “Khaleesi” among girls’ names.
