There’s nothing more nostalgic than a trip down a retail memory lane. So much of our childhoods in America were centered around what we wanted and needed from the local department store. In New Jersey, there are so many that I remember as actual “experiences,” as opposed to simple shopping excursions. And with the retail landscape completely changed, it’s fun to reminisce about these now defunct New Jersey retailers.
