The New Jersey Hall of Fame has been inducting the famous from the Garden State since its first ceremony in 2008. Frank Sinatra and Bruce Springsteen were in that year. So was Buzz Aldrin, Albert Einstein and Thomas Edison.

When we think of the truly famous from New Jersey it seems easy. Shaquille O'Neal, Danny Devito, Jack Nicholson.

Music alone will have names like Whitney Houston and Frankie Valli rolling off the tongue.

If you're like me, there are far more than you think of. Is it something in the water? The work ethic? How do we have this many people generation after generation finding fame from such a relatively small state?
