Your videos and social media posts are helping no one
I've been saying for a while, the videos and social media posts are counter-productive. Now, a police chief in Paulsboro is asking the public to put the cell phones down.
The videos are out of context and they have the potential risk of damaging reputations. How many videos are truly groundbreaking? Even the Delta Airlines video needed context. And yup, so did United.
When a cop gets exonerated, the videos fuel the fires of those who already hate cops. When a cop gets indicted it's based on evidence, not your 30-second clip that helps no one. Time for people to put the phones down and maybe try helping the situation instead of standing idle and shooting footage?
