A recent report say that the majority of NJ residents believe that Dharun Ravi did not receive a heavy enough fine. How much of the media's influence do you think played a part in over 50% of the people polled think that Ravi should have received a heftier sentence?

How many of that 50+ percent do you think were really versed on the facts of the case versus the majority that were just reading what the media was reporting about the case?It didn't help Ravi's case to have a frenzy of anti-bullying campaigns going on during the trial either.
