Truth be told, I’ve never been inside a Pizza Hut.

Or for that matter a Dominos, a Papa Johns or any of those joints.

I get sick to my stomach watching all those commercials with “cafones” wolfing down large servings of pies – washing it down with large Cokes – then topping it off with pizza chocolate chip cookies.

It makes my arteries harden just watching them.

But, hey, that’s what America supposedly craves.

More flavor – more special sauces – more toppings – more of everything that’s not good for you.

But at the end of the day, firms like Pizza Hut need to show a profit, so this is what they’re offering. Not that you have to buy any of it.

However, it makes you think – given the way they’re augmenting their menu – that there has to be a greater demand for this than we’ve ever suspected.

According to this story on the Blaze, the company is desperate for change. With that in mind, coming November 19th, Pizza Hut will be offering different crusts, different toppings, different sauces - and a new nifty logo - all in an attempt to lure you in.

Tempting, no?

No.

But it all goes to the appetite we all have for junk food. After all, one can only eat healthy for so long.

Chowing down on a Pizza Hut pie, McRib, or whatever the hell else is out there shows you’re human.
Just like the rest of us.

I don't know if there are any specialty "mac and cheese" joints around, but if not, perhaps that'll be the next big chain to take over the growing fast food industry.

Do you have a favorite “junk food” you like to eat every now and then?
