When Patrick Ewing was still mostly hanging around New Jersey, digs like these must have been awfully nice. But the commute from Cresskill, N.J. to Charlotte, N.C. probably isn't too easy.

The former Knicks superstar is looking to sell his seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom all-brick manor home in the exclusive Tamcrest Estates for just a hair under $6.5 million.

What's that get you?

There's a spacious foyer with a grand staircase, according to the home's listing on Zillow.com. French doors lead to a library with a fireplace. The family room has floor-to-ceiling windows and a double-sided fireplace of its own.

In the gourmet kitchen are all-stainless appliances, an eat-at-island and breakfast area, and a fireplace (of course). That looks out to the pool and spa. A butlers pantry separates that area from the dining room.

On the main floor are a bedroom with a full bath, two powder rooms, a laundry room and four-car garage. You can take an elevator to the second floor, where a master bedroom suite (with, you guessed it, a fireplace) and four bedrooms with private baths are located.

The lower level has a walk out to a basketball court (that seems like almost a given), a wet bar, a large recreational room, a media room, a gym and a bedroom with a bath.

Not too shabby. But Ewing hasn't been able to sink this sale yet. He just knocked $500,000 off the asking price a few days ago.

If you buy the home. be prepared to keep paying some NBA-superstar-sized bucks. Taxes in 2015 were more than $104,000.
