Update: Here’s proof that New Jerseyans will return ANYTHING

I wrote last week and showed you a toilet seat that I had bought at Target that was the wrong size.

We'd heard horror stories about people at certain stores being freaked out if you return an even unused toilet seat. You can put it back in the packaging one you open it, but I hadn't used it before I realized it was the wrong size.

Well, I told our producer last week, Kylie Moore, that if she put up a poll, over 75% of people in New Jersey would say "just take it back".

I was right.

Seventy eight percent say return it, and so I did.

I took a woman with me and I emphatically explained to the woman at the customer service counter that it hadn't been used. She said, "no problem!"

Great relief and $22.34 back in my account. If you're shopping for one anytime soon, just know along with the variety of colors and textures and materials, THEY COME IN DIFFERENT SIZES!
