I'm not a fan of returning stuff to the store. If a shirt doesn't fit, I give it to a friend or family member. If I bought something completely wrong, maybe I can donate it to Goodwill. Standing in that return line is like waiting to see the principal back in middle school to explain my side of the story in an episode gone wrong.

Knowing that people try to get away with stuff all the time adds extra guilt and anxiety. I also worry how they'll be able to resell it if the packaging is now destroyed from opening it. Not my problem, I know, but I don't like to cause other people trouble. So here is my dilemma. Do I return a toilet seat that doesn't fit after I tore the plastic wrap (unavoidable) to get the item out of the packaging? Why not? CAUSE IT'S A TOILET SEAT!!!

So what should I do?
