HAMILTON — Authorities on Tuesday arrested a third suspect in the shooting death last week of an ex-con in his township apartment.

Joshua L .Major, 22, of Pemberton, was arrested Tuesday by U.S. Marshals in Beverly, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo Onofri, who on Tuesday announced the arrests of Marcus L. Muse, 24, of Willingboro, and Tatiana S. Cole, 24, of Pemberton, in the shooting death of Michael DiMattia.

All three are charged with murder, felony murder, robbery and weapons possession. Major is being held on $500,000 bail.

DiMattia was found dead in his home at the Victoria Apartments on March 11. Authorities say his killers robbed DiMattia. Muse and Cole were found in a Mt. Laurel hotel with $18,000 in cash they stole from the home, Onofri said.

DiMattia. a graduate of the former McCorriston High School, is being laid to rest Thursday at the Hartmann Memorial Home in Mercerville. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the shooting death of a drug dealer in 1990. After his release from prison, he faced multiple weapons and drug charges.
