The stupidest bull**** about New Jersey that Snopes had to debunk
The popular Internet reference website Snopes is famous for fact-checking the craziest myths and folklore that appear on the internet. As you probably could imagine, there are plenty of myths surrounding the Garden State.
Whether it's fake laws that people believe are getting passed, or the famous Weird NJ stories you've become way too familiar with, we picked a few ridiculous claims that Snopes had to debunk.

Claim: Two seperate sightings of the Jersey Devil
This is one we've heard about time and time again, but was most recently brought back to our attention in October of 2015. Apparently there were two different sightings of the Jersey Devil within days of each other. While Snopes doesn't clearly deny this story, I have my doubts.

Claim: Bernie Sanders isn't on the New Jersey primary ballot.
There were plenty of news articles and social media outcry on March about how Bernie Sanders wasn't on the ballot in New Jersey. It turns out that no candidates were on the ballot, and the deadline for that state's ballot access petitions to be submitted was yesterday.

Claim: Pennsylvania passed a law banning New Jersey drivers from its highways.
It's crazy to believe that people believed this claim back in 2013 that Pennsylvania is banning New Jersey drivers. I vividly remember seeing this posted all throughout social media, and couldn't believe how gullible my peers were.
