HAMILTON (Mercer) — Heartfelt tributes for Nick Pratico from his sister and a Tony Award winner continue to come, in as video shows what could have been for the talented 19-year-old.

Video was posted via Twitter of what the website Broadway World reported was an audition video  of Pratico performing "Waving Through A Window" from the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen and "Freeze Your Brain" from Heathers the Musical.

The video prompted actor Ben Platt, who won a Tony for  Best Actor in a Musical for his performance as the lead character in "Dear Evan Hansen,"to tweet his condolences on Pratico's death:

"RIP Nick Pratico. I wish we could‘ve seen more of your talent and goodness. To anyone feeling lost, you’re not alone. Hold on & keep going."

Pratico went missing on Sept. 20 after signing up for classes and getting his ID card picture taken at the student center at Mercer County Community College in West Windsor. After a month-long investigation, a State Police K9 found his body on Monday in a wooded area in back of a corn field across Trenton Road from the school.

Police have not yet released a cause of death for the Notre Dame High School graduate, but a reverend who has served as a family spokesperson referred to his death as a suicide.

After a semester at Mercer, Pratico was to attend the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts on a scholarship for the spring semester — a promising step to a career in the arts.

His older sister, Marysa, on her Facebook page remembered her brother as "the definition of true friendship and the kindsest of souls."

"I might not understand all of this now, but I hope one day I will, guided by your light and strength. you'll be in my heart..always my little brother," she wrote.

The family has not yet announced funeral plans.
