In the wake of the horrific derailment of Amtrak train #188, there is now discussion about that maybe seat belts should be installed on commuter trains.

Dennis and Judi are not in favor laws that are currently on the books that make drivers wear seat belts in their cars, more or less when commuting on a train.

The on-air hour generated a host of heated discussions, both for and against installing seat belts on commuter trains. Those that were for the installs, preached safety as the main reason for the change. Those that were opposed and agreed with Dennis and Judi, felt that adding seat belts now would be a knee-jerk reaction to a tragic situation.
