Retractable bumper helps trucker evade tolls

Pablo Ortega is in big trouble. The 45 year old trucker from Queens has a little James Bond in him. They say he was caught yesterday morning in his 1997 Peterbilt with a hydraulically lifted bumper that made it impossible for EZPass cameras to see his license plate. If you're wondering about the rear plate, that was obscured with grease. The trick bumper was operated by a black toggle switch on his dashboard and authorities say the spy-type kit cost $2,000.
