Man fatally shoot man in Ventnor standoff, police say
VENTNOR -- A standoff ended in gunfire and the death of one man on Monday night.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said that one man was killed during a standoff with police at the intersection of Burghley and Dorset avenues in Ventnor but referred all other questions to the Attorney General's office.

The man had released his parents from the home when police and a SWAT team arrived, according to the report. He then came out of the home holding a gun and was fatally shot by police, the report said.
