One killed in South Jersey home invasion
MOORESTOWN — One person was killed inside a South Jersey home early Sunday.during a home invasion.
Joel Bewley, spokesman for the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office said police were called to the home on the in the 700 block of Hartford Road in Moorestown around 12:30 a.m.
The man who called police told them two men had broken into his home and he stabbed them after a struggle, according to Bewley. One man was pronounced dead at the home while the other left the home.
Police have yet to determine if a man who showed up at Lourdes Hospital in Willingboro is connected to the incidenyt.
The men entered the home with baseball bats , according to 6ABC Action News.
Bewley said the investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed. He did not disclose the identities of anyone involved in the incident.
