Port Authority Whistle Blower Mirrors ‘Not Dead Yet’ Python Sketch

You heard Jim talking about the story regarding Jerry Speziale, a former Port Authority Official who is now suing because of whistleblowing. Speziale claims he was retaliated against after being hired to uncover wasteful spending and corruption within the Port Authority.

Speziale has held various positions with law enforcement including, jobs on the NYPD and more recently as Passaic County Sherriff. Since leaving the Port Authority, Speziale took a position as a police chief in a town in Alabama.

It seems that Speziale finds a way, no matter the circumstances, to land on his feet in another position.  It almost reminds us of the classic Monty Python skit "Not Dead Yet," where everyone is bringing out their dead and one man keeps yelling "I'm not dead yet!"
