My best decision ever was one year ago yesterday when I married my wife Aubree. March 6th falling on a work night made things a little rough, but it being a Sunday was also a great thing because it meant the very bridal suite we stayed in one year ago was available at the Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge. Check out the picture gallery above for a few pics from our anniversary last night.

As I said then, this place is amazing. A very popular venue for weddings in Somerset County where the food is great, the service spectacular, and the way they work with couples is so personal. So I knew when our anniversary was coming around how special it would be if I could get us booked in the very same room as our wedding night. Of course there was the issue of the baby and it being a school night for the other kids.

Thanks to Aubree's parents this was able to happen. They stayed overnight at our house to take care of Atticus and our older kids Jack and Mina. It meant a bit of a rough night for my in-laws because this was the first night Atti spent without us so he was a bit thrown off. (But the smile on his face when he saw us walk in this morning let us know all was well.)

The Bernard Suite at the Olde Mill Inn is beautiful! Oh and we even ran into John Lietz who was our organizer and maitre d' for the wedding and reception last year. He's even become a faithful listener of NJ101.5 since then. Welcome to the 101.5 family John!
