RARITAN BOROUGH — An overturned truck on Route 202 created delays around the Somerville Circle.

The driver of a utility truck pulling a small trailer flipped onto its side just before 10 a.m. on the southbound at 1st Avenue, according to Police Chief Raymond Nolte, and spilled fuel onto the road. Nolte said the trailer remained upright.

"That's an extremely busy intersection," Notle said of the closure, which created long delays on Route 202 approaching the Somerville Circle and also on Route 28 and 1st Avenue.

There were no injuries from the incident,  according to Nolte, who said the fire department was able to clean up he fuel spill.
