Nutley Police Seek Missing College Student [VIDEO]

The Nutley Police Department asked for assistance from the public Tuesday in the search for a 20-year-old woman.

She was last seen in the parking deck of the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark.

Police indicated the woman may be in the company of her ex-boyfriend, 18-year-old Ahmed Hassan Dar.

The woman was last seen wearing jeans, a white shirt, a gray long-sleeved sweater and gray boots. Police could not provide a clothing description for Dar.

"They may be in the Jersey City area or Manhattan, NYC," a press release stated. "It is believed that both parties may be traveling via public transportation, including the PATH train."

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the woman and Dar are asked to contact Nutley Police at (973) 284-4940. Citizens are strongly encouraged not to approach Dar.

UPDATE: The woman was later found unharmed. Her name has been removed from this post.
