NJ teen Danny Scerbo beats cancer with help of music
Had a very special guest in studio this morning. His name is Danny Scerbo and he's been cancer free since April. Danny was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in December at the age of 16. He subsequently went through a very aggressive Chemotherapy treatment. Thankfully it worked.
This young man is an inspiration to both his classmates and adults. He's strong, confident and positive. Danny is also a talented musician and he joined us for a song he wrote during chemotherapy treatment.
During the interview, Danny mentioned that he will be performing in a play. Danny’s School play is called Boeing Boeing and will be held at Freehold Twp High School. The dates are 11/2 at 7pm, 11/4 at 1pm and 7pm, and on 11/5 at 1pm. Make sure to visit his YouTube channel and also on Facebook, at Danny Scerbo Music as well.
