A Hoboken man is accused of committing a sex crime against his own mother — one of several charges in an alleged kidnapping, NJ.com reports.

The 25-year-old made his first appearance on the charges Tuesday and is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail, which will be reviewed in Superior Court, according to the report.

It cites a criminal complaint alleging the man held his mother in his home for about two hours while "using physical force to restrain and control." He's accused of slapping her, verbally abusing her, threatening to kill her, strangling he and committing sexual contact against her. The man is also charged with a weapons offense after threatening his mother while holding "a handheld massager," the report cites the police complaint saying
