Military vet creates company to bring fresh food to the needy

Today in studio my colleague Allison Gormly from Chasing News brought in a special guest to help honor our military men and women from New Jersey. As a part of our new segment #MilitaryMonday were joined by Army Veteran, West Point graduate and Mendham resident, Pat O'Neill .

After he finished his service in the Army, and after his successful private sector career Pat started a business called Amp Your Good. It's a simple service that connects food-banks with fresh produce donation in order to supply needy families with better nutrition than typically found in food banks. He and I discussed that people today have a hard time affording healthy food, as the cheaper options available to many families in need are typically the less healthy option. It's always great to catch up with one of American's heroes who served our nation proudly and continues to give back to a grateful nation.
