Silverton market voted best sandwich joint in New Jersey two years running
We are nothing if not passionate about our food in the Garden State, so when an establishment gets accolades you know it’s worth your time.
When it gets praise two years in a row? You better start paying attention.
That’s the case with Lenny’s Market in the Silverton section of Toms River. They have just been named the 2026 ‘Best Sandwich Join in Jersey’ for the second consecutive year by Jersey Sandwich Joints.

Thousands of sandwich lovers throughout New Jersey nominated and voted for their favorite neighborhood delis, markets and sandwich shops, and once again Lenny’s came out on top.
This championship is not simply about making an incredible sandwich. It is a tribute to a family that works side by side, employs a large local staff and has built the kind of neighborhood business that inspires other small-business owners across New Jersey. - Guy Madsen, Jersey Sandwich Joints

Lenny’s is a full-service market, butcher shop, bakery and prepared-food destination known for its enormous sandwiches, premium meats, and consistently high-quality food.
The family-owned marketplace has been around since 1971. They pride themselves on their (as they desire it) “mile long” meat counter that showcases their variety of steaks, loins, chops, cutlets, poultry, and sausage.

Lenny’s Silverton Market is located at 1824 Hooper Ave in Toms River, NJ.
They also have locations at 3108 Bridge Ave. in Point Pleasant Boro, and 149 Main Street in Manasquan, NJ.

Their hours are:
