Is It Time for Harsher Fines for NJ Home Invaders? [POLL]

It's hard to believe that if someone breaks into your home, but doesn't walk away with anything, that they more than likely will walk away with no jail time. That could change if the General Assembly votes to pass a bill for stronger penalties.

You would like to think, at the very least, if you were startled by someone who breaks into your home they would go to jail for it. This proposed bill would upgrade the offense to at least a second degree crime. Is this a bill a slam dunk that's long overdue? Take our poll below.
