As I watched these young men choose their their destinations, I couldn’t help but dream about my boys one day being in that position. Though their only 6-years-old and haven’t even yet found a sport that they like, you know how fast the time goes.

I wonder what sports if any they will choose. If you had your choice to be a great professional athlete, which would you choose? Would you like to be an NFL quarterback like Audobon’s Joe Flacco and become the most valuable player in the Super Bowl? Perhaps you could be a Yankee icon like Pequannock’s Derek Jeter.

If they choose hockey I might have to take out a second mortgage but it could be worth it if they turn out like Colts Neck’s James Van Reimsdyk. Basketball is so much cheaper and they could make so much more money. Maybe they’ll be as good as Roselle Park’s Rick Barry.

This is not only a question for men but women as well. Look at all the tennis players, golfers, volleyballers, not to mention soccer. There are of course so many other sports to choose from as well.
