If a tree falls short of water, is a millennial to blame?

That was the question Tuesday, when Bill Spadea's millennial daughter, Elizabeth, stopped by the show for a few minutes — visiting home from London in college.

Christmas has passed, and the Spadea tree may be drying out, because Elizabeth didn't do her duty to water it, Bill says. But Elizabeth points out dear old dad never sent her a text reminding her.

"How was I supposed to know?" she asks.
