OLDMAS — New Jersey State Police are asking the public for help in identifying an armed robber.

On June 28, at approximately 2:41 p.m., troopers responded to a report of an armed robbery at Country Store, an Italian restaurant located at 32 South Railroad Avenue in Oldmans Township.

Police say an investigation at the scene revealed that the thief entered the store, pressed an object to the cashier’s back and took cash from the register.

The man then fled through the back of the store.

The burglar is described as a white male, in his late 20s, between 5 feet and 6 inches and 5 feet and 8 inches, with blue eyes, short blond hair and beard stubble.  He was last seen wearing a camouflage hooded jacket, a light-colored hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and tan work boots.
