TRENTON - Authorities in Mercer County are asking for the public's help in tracking down two men wanted for questioning in connection with stabbing death of a 27-year-old in Trenton.

According to police, the Mercer County Homicide Task Force Trenton are investigating the June 14 homicide which resulted in the death of Carlos Leiva-Oviedo.

Authorities say Trenton police responded to the intersection of Hudson and Genesee streets at 3 a.m. after receiving reports of a male bleeding. When officers arrived, they found Leiva-Oviedo collapsed and bleeding near his car on Hudson Street. Police say he has suffered multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he later died from his injuries, authorities say.

A surveillance video shows two men walking away from the area around the time of the homicide. Police are asking for the public's help in locating them as part of the ongoing investigation.
