If you don't know, BYU (or Bringham Young University) is a private University in Utah owned and operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Scott D. Pierce of The Salt Lake Tribune recently wrote an article about the scolding a female BYU student received on Valentine's Day due to her attire. Those BYU girls sure do know how to be provocative.

Brittany Molina was on campus when she was handed this note:

Not A Love Note

The note reads: "You may want to consider that what you're wearing has a negative effect on men (and women) around you. Many people come to this university because they feel safe, morally as well as physically, here. They expect others to abide by the Honor Code that we all agreed on. Please consider your commitment to the Honor Code (which you agreed to) when dressing each day. Thank you."

Now, I will show you a picture of what the perpetrator was wearing. Get ready, this may knock your socks off.

THIS outfit is the reason why Brittany was approached. I understand BYU is a very strict, religious University, but one has to think that this is going a little bit too far. Could you imagine Snooki and J-Woww being scolded like this for what they wear on 'The Jersey Shore'?

You may remember a story from less than a year ago where BYU's star basketball player, Brandon Davies was suspended because he had sex with his girlfriend. It was in direct violation of the school's honor code. The team was the third ranked team in the country before his suspension. In the first game of his suspension, BYU lost to an unranked team. There were some questions raised here. One being: WHO COULD HAVE RATTED HIM OUT? But you can actually understand where BYU was coming from in this story. The school has an honor code that students agree to uphold.

As far as Brittany here is concerned, she should wear that outfit once a week, every week.
