Free Concerts At PNC Bank Arts Center In Holmdel This Fall

FREE concerts, legendary music, and a trip down memory lane, and you don’t have to break open your wallet!

The Garden State Arts Foundation has announced its 2026 Free Fall Concert Series at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, and they are kicking things off with some terrific entertainment.

The Bronx Wanderers will open the series on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 1:30 p.m. Get ready for a musical journey back to the Bronx and the early 1960s, when doo-wop was king, street corners became concert stages and a great harmony could stop you in your tracks.

The Bronx Wanderers Kick Things Off

The Bronx Wanderers, featuring Anthony Duke Claus and Dennis “Dion” Nardone, will bring their high-energy combination of street-corner doo-wop, oldies, and tributes to Dion and other artists.

Close your eyes and you can almost imagine yourself walking through the Bronx in the early ’60s, hearing those incredible harmonies coming from the neighborhood streets.

That is the magic of this music. It doesn’t just entertain you, it takes you somewhere.
And the best part? It’s FREE!

Malt Shop Memories Brings Back the Classics

Then on Wednesday, September 16th at 7 p.m., the Malt Shop Memories show takes the stage.

If you love doo-wop, oldies, and classic hits, this is going to be one heck of a musical memory trip.

The lineup includes The Duprees, Clyde McPhatter’s Drifters, Brian Hyland, Eddie Holman,

The Dixie Cups, Vito Picone and The Elegants, just to name a few.

These are songs that have stood the test of time. You know the melodies, you know the words, and I’m willing to bet you’ll be singing along before the night is over.

The performers will be backed by the Coda Band, and I can tell you from personal experience, these guys are outstanding. I have worked with them, and they know this music inside and out. They understand the style, the sound, and the importance of doing justice to the great artists and songs they are performing.
