WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP (Bergen) — A 88-year-old woman backed out of her driveway and into the house across the street on Monday.

ABC 7 Eyewitness News reported that the woman stepped on the gas instead of the brake and rammed her car completely inside the house,

A 16-year-old golden retriever named Bo was trapped under the car but was successfully freed, according to the report.

The car was towed out of the house and the house was stabilized, according to the Daily Voice of Pascack Valley, but the owner will not be able to live in the house until further repairs are made.

Elsewhere in New Jersey last month, elderly drivers also damaged several homes and store signs in two separate incidents in the same town.
