Cliffside Park Sgt. David Becker complained of neck and back pain after the crash, which occurred just before 2:30 a.m. Tuesday on Adolphus Avenue, near Gorge Road. But he declined medical treatment at the scene.

Authorities tell The Record that 25-year-old Kelsey Coughlan of the Bronx, N.Y. had been driving the wrong way on the street and fled after the accident occurred. But police found her vehicle a short time later and arrested her.

Coughlan was not injured in the crash.

Becker's police car sustained damage to the front driver's side.
