A new article by Business Insider shows the most expensive homes for sale in each state, ranked by price. How did they find their results?

We looked at listings on Christie's International Real Estate, Sotheby's International Realty, Coldwell Banker, Trulia, Zillow, and other real estate sites to find the most expensive home for sale right now in every state. Properties listed as farm or ranchland were excluded.
Pretty simple, right? North Dakota's most expensive home came in at a measly $3.2 million. Meanwhile, Connecticut's most expensive home palace is $190 million, and the most expensive home for sale in America.
The most expensive home in the Garden State is $29.9 million, which ranks 15th on the list.
According to Sotheby's International Realty, this Englewood home comes with 8 bedrooms, 9 full bathrooms, a pool, and a theater.
