This cold snap has almost lasted two weeks now, as New Jersey enters the core of arctic high pressure Tuesday.

Bundle up, New Jersey! Monday will be unseasonably cold and breezy, with thermometers stuck around 30 degrees and the wind chill closer to 20.

Temperatures will run 15 to 20 degrees below normal on this late fall day. And Friday won't even be the most painfully cold day of the week.

Friday could be one of the coldest days of all of 2025, with a round of snow showers in the forecast for New Jersey too.

You might want to get the heavy winter gear ready to go by the end of the week.

A few inches of snow are possible to the north. Up to an inch of rain is possible to the south. With some even colder weather coming up for New Jersey.

While much of New Jersey could see a brief hit of snowflakes early Tuesday morning, the majority of the state will quickly flip to plain rain.

Heads up! Road conditions could become messy all day Tuesday, as a mix of accumulating snow and heavy rain sweeps through New Jersey.

As the Thanksgiving holiday weekend ends and November turns to December, New Jersey's weather will turn more active and potentially more wintry next week.

You will have to dodge some raindrops Wednesday with temperatures in the 60s across New Jersey, but Thanksgiving turns 20+ degrees colder.
