Body found on NJ Transit RiverLine train
RIVERSIDE — The body of an adult male was found on a NJ Transit light rail train Sunday morning.
NJ Transit spokeswoman Lisa Torbic said an unresponsive male was seen on a southbound train at the Riverside station of the RiverLine around 7:45 a.m.
One train was delayed by the initial examination of the body by a medical examiner who deterimined the man was deceased. Torbic said it has not been determined how long the man had been on the train or the circumstances of his death.
Torbic said the impact to service was minimal.
