This summer, we told you about a Tewksbury woman who couldn't drive around a group of bicyclists because they fanned out and completely blocked the road. When she gave a polite beep asking them to make way, they surrounded her car and began punching and kicking her vehicle. Broke off a mirror, put dents in it and such. The woman was terrified. Police are still looking for the bikers.

This incident brought about a letter from the township which is being sent to cycling shops and clubs to remind bicyclists that they need to follow the rules of the road. Basically putting bikers on notice that Tewksbury won't tolerate this anymore and that the police will be looking for them blocking paths of cars and violating other laws.

The conflict between drivers of cars and riders of bicycles sharing the road won't end anytime soon. But who in your opinion is responsible for most of this ugliness?
