I've mentioned to you that the really cold weather of the past few days would not last very long.  Today will be a prime example of that.

Partly sunny and a milder afternoon with highs in the low to middle 50s just about everywhere, including the Jersey Shore and beaches, which will have enough of a west-southwest wind to hold off any sea breeze today.

Clear and partly cloudy for the night ahead with some lows in the 30s, but maybe a few 20s in the coldest spots, and closer to 40 along the south coast.

Patchy clouds and sunshine for Saturday, but a beautiful day with highs right back in the 50s Saturday afternoon.

A little bit of cooler weather will move down to New Jersey for Sunday with some sunshine and highs mostly in the mid to upper 40s, with a reading possibly near 50 in the southernmost counties.

A disturbance passing by to our south Monday may produce some variable clouds and just the chance of a few showers in far southern counties, though I think it will be dry most of the time in most of the state.

We'll probably have to wait until the middle part of next week for any real chance of rain here.
