ABC is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the movie "Dirty Dancing" with a reboot of the movie where they let you know what happens to Johnny and Baby. Franke Previte, who wrote the iconic theme "I've Had The Time Of My Life" performed it in studio with singer Lisa Sherman.

The two will be performing it as well as Previte's other hit from the movie, "Hungry Eyes," in their new show "Broadway and Beyond" on June 10 at the Hamilton Stage of the Union County Performing Arts Center in Rahway. Another show will take place June 16 at Tim McLoone's Supper Club in Asbury Park.

The song is number 15 of all time on the American Association of Composers, Authors and Publishers' song survey, with Happy Birthday being number one on the list.

Previte says he got the idea for the song at exit 140 of the Garden State Parkway. I suggested naming a rest stop after him. "The Franke Previte Rest Stop" where you can have "The Time Of Your Life" at the "Hungry Fries" cafe where "Dirty Dancing" is encouraged! You can even put baby in the corner.

Steve Trevelise is on the air from Monday-Thursday, 7 to 11 p.m. Tweet him @realstevetrev or @nj1015.
