ATLANTIC COUNTY


The Ventnor PorchFest, a music and arts festival held on the welcoming front porches of Ventnor, will take place this Spring. The family-friendly, free event will feature local musicians from a wide variety of genres. Afternoon entertainment will include more than forty performers on assorted porches throughout the city. Attendees will stroll from porch to porch and "camp out" on front lawns and sidewalks as they enjoy live, local talent. Maps of porches and performers will be provided on the day of the event. PorchFest brings important attention to Ventnor's beautiful architecture, ongoing revitalization, and highlights the musical and artistic talent here at the shore.

The bands are back in town for the Bellview Winery Summer Concert Series! The Bordentown City Green Fair will return to this historic Burlington County town for the 8th straight year with more than 60 vendors and exhibits designed to educate and encourage people of all ages to adopt a more sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyle. Come explore the village and the bogs by moon light, this special oportunity is scheduled on or as close to the full moon as possibe. An experienced guide will share insights about Whitesbog and the nature that surrounds us with a different topic each month. Both the top Mummers Brigades AND top Mummers String Bands from the New Year's Day Parade in Philadelphia will entertain crowds in the pub district of North Wildwood. The excitement kicks off Friday night with the Fancy Brigade Pub Crawl through local drinking establishments in the North Wildwood Entertainment District. A colorful Mummers parade will begin at 3 p.m. on Saturday along Olde New Jersey Avenue where you can get up-close views of the beautiful costumes and intricate dance steps. (Fancy Brigades begin at 3 p.m. and the String Band Grand Finale begins at 4:30 p.m.) Rain date is Sunday. Admission is FREE, so come join in the fun and learn the famous Mummers Strut!

Sunset Safari cocktail reception is being held to celebrate the Grand Opening of the Essex County Turtle Back Zoo Lion and Hyena Exhibit. Seaside Heights will host two events that will satisfy every shopper, Arts and Crafts by the Sea and a Town-wide Garage Sale. Held from 11 am - 7 pm on the boardwalk between Dupont & Grant Ave. Shoppers will have the chance to browse handmade arts and crafts from local vendors while enjoying the beautiful ocean view. Over fifty vendors specializing in everything from photography to paintings will be in attendance. Arts and Crafts by the Sea will also feature a variety of beautiful hand-crafted items such as jewelry, candles, nautical paintings, wooden engravings, and bird houses. The town-wide garage sale will take place the same day from 8 am - 2 pm throughout the town. Residents will be selling a treasure trove of household items. After a day of shopping guests can stroll the boardwalk, visit an arcade or the amusement pier, and grab a bite to eat in the many renowned eateries in Seaside Heights.

PASSAIC COUNTY


Collectors, treasure hunters, and decorators can spend the day shopping for their favorite antiques from more than 75 on the historic grounds of Ringwood Manor.The marketplace will feature vendors selling antiques, collectibles, and vintage items such as coins, U.S. and world stamps, comic books, toys, military items, currency, trains, sports and non-sports cards from the early 20th century, watches, clocks, jewelry, furniture, records, and more. While visitors shop, there will also be live performances from jazz and acoustic musicians. Tasty treats will be plentiful from the variety of gourmet food trucks on site, serving empanadas, ice cream and more. Meanwhile, younger visitors can stop at the kids craft area to create their own treasures that will be available to them at no charge.There is no cost to enter the antiques & vintage marketplace, but there is a $5 per in-state car parking fee, and $7 per car out-of-state parking fee to enter Ringwood State Park.

The 9th annual Greenwood Lake Air Show is bringing the top performers from across the nation to thrill audiences in the highlands of New Jersey. Crowds will be entertained by top names like Rob Holland and Bill Stein who perform solo and duel acts. Rex Pemberton will be a sure highlight of the day as he glides through the air in his Xwing suit. This one of a kind performance is making it's debut for the 2017 season. Rex is a world renowned sky diver and took his passion for flight to new heights with this jet powered wing he straps to his back. A list of all the acts can be found on the website. Jessica Williams was one of the two Dunellen teens severely injured in the Times Square attack that took place a few weeks ago.
