BAYONNE (AP) — Two people were killed when a fast-moving fire gutted a multifamily home in North Jersey.

But it's not clear what sparked the fire in Bayonne, which broke out around 3:30 a.m. Saturday

Authorities say the two people killed were a couple in their 60s, but their names have not been disclosed. Three other people found in the home were taken to the hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries, and further details on their conditions were not released.

Officials say roughly 20 people lived in the home, which had four apartments. The Red Cross was providing assistance to about 15 residents who were displaced by the fire.
