Whitesbog is part of a state park and as such closes at dusk each day, however you have the opportunity to join us for this special after hours Moonlight Walk held on the Saturday closest to the full moon each month. August 5th the walk will begin at 8pm. Listen to the night sounds of the Pines, learn about Whitesbog and experience the seasonal changes of the Pinelands. All walks are 3-5 miles in length, weather permitting and led by experienced leaders. $5/person donation, call for reservations.

Stand-up and cheer for the youngsters at the Annual Cape May Baby Parade. The parade will march off at 11 am from Congress Street along Beach Avenue and end at Howard Street. Post parade there will be an awards ceremony held in Cape May Convention Hall. Trophies will be awarded in five separate categories: Pretty Baby, Decorated Baby Carriage, Children Walking in Fancy Dress, Children Walking in Comic Dress, and Decorated on Wheels. Come to the beautiful grounds of the Physick Estate and experience what CBS NY named one of New Jersey's Top Five Summer Festivals! This all-day festival features local craft beers to wash down favorite summer picnic foods such as steamed crabs, crab cakes, pulled pork, corn on the cob, potato salad and more. Celebrate Jersey Fresh and one of our state's favorite fruits by joining us for our Just Peachy Festival from 10 am - 5 pm. The festival will include live music both days. A special feature of this festival will be our "Summer Harvest" farm-to-fork tasting section featuring local chefs using local ingredients to prepare recipes for visitors to sample. The tasting area will be open both days and admission to the special tasting section is $15. The weekend will be filled with plenty of activities for kids: a ride through the orchards on our tractor-drawn wagons, pony rides, games and barnyard fun. Kortney's Challenge 2 Mile FUN Run/Walk at Monmouth Park on Sunday, August 6, 2017 is an event that brings the community out to support pediatric brain tumor research and gets everyone moving for a great cause. This flat 2 mile course caters to anyone of any age, beginning runners, advanced runners, walkers, great distance for kids, and strollers welcome. Top 3 boys and girls, 12 & under, top 3 men and women, 13 & over, and top 3 men and women, 40 and over will receive a trophy. Children under 12 will receive a medal. 8:30 am, Registration opens, FREE tattoos and face painting offered. At 9 am watch the Dance Plus Performance Team and join us for our group stretch. The race steps off at 10 am. Free food, drinks and fun in the finish area. FREE Family Fun events offered in the track picnic area after our event. Every participant of Kortney's Challenge will receive a goody bag of great donated items and tickets for FREE Grandstand entrance to the racetrack.

Grow It Green Morristown is hosting its 8th Annual Alfresco at the Farm event to grow a greener, healthier community. Alfresco at the Farm is our family fundraising festival event that puts a new urban twist on the traditional country fair. The festival provides fun for the whole family and is attended by over 200 involved community members, public officials, business owners and media from the Morris County area who are interested in strengthening the community, local food, health, education and sustainability.
