Last weekend a British music fan asked on Twitter: "What is the song you most detest and despise?" The replies came in the thousands and songs in the hundreds including John Lennon's "Imagine," Abba's "Dancing Queen," and Don McLean's "American Pie."

So I narrowed down the question: Which song by a Jersey artist do you most detest and why? Here's what I got:

Have a Nice Day by Bon Jovi. Sounded like every other post "Keep The Faith" Jovi song but worse.

Scott: Bon Jovi - Who Says You Can't Go Home.

Francie: Bon Jovi - the whole New Jersey Album.

Maryjo: Bon Jovi - This House is Not For Sale. I pray for the sweet release of death when I hear it.

Andrew: Anything Frankie Valli ever did.

Justin: Any Whitney Houston song.

John Kensil: Bruce Springsteen - Blinded By The Light. I only understand the line "Blinded By the Light," but what does he say next? "Gave up like a douche running in the night." Then it got worse when Manfred Mann covered it.

Paul: "I'm on Fire" by Bruce Springsteen. Flat-out creepy.

Thom: I love the Robin Williams bit where he sings that as Elmer Fudd.

Tony: Springsteen's Christmas song. "Huh what?"

Steven: Every song Springsteen did after 1986!

Steven: Atlantic City. Worst BS song ever!

Richard: Every Bruce song EVER.

Daniel Hopman: Anything by Bruce or JBJ.

Russell: "On the Way to Cape May" by Al Albert. Cheesiness personified.

Jerry: "Love Shack" by The B-52's. (Fred Schneider, Newark & Kate Pierson, Weehawken)

Carlo Bellario: It's Tan Mom- Patricia "Tan Mom" Krentcil

Jerry Grath: Bon Jovi - Who Says You Can't Go Home. Dumbest lyrics in history.

Cathy Donnelly: That time Uncle Floyd played for 24 hours straight.

Mike: Opening a huge can o' worms bro! I'd like to think we support all Jersey artists.

Rob: Party All the Time by Eddie Murphy.
