A Princeton woman jumped from the window of a house to flee the man who'd hit her on the head and dragged her there, police reportedly said.

According to a report by NJ Advance Media, police said the woman was assaulted on Witherspoon Street Friday night, then taken to a home on the 100 block of Green Street, where she was beaten befroe being able to jump from a window and escape.

She was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where she was treated for multiple injuries, according to the report.

It wasn't clear from the information released if authorities believe the attacker may live at the home on Green Street.

Police said in a community alert they're seeing a Hispanic male in his 40s with a thin build, wearing blue jeans, blue shirt, and a blue jacket. They're asking anyone with information to contact Detective Annette Henderson at 609-921-2100.
