WATCH LIVE: Donald Trump, Christie speak to supporters in NJ

LAWRENCEVILLE — Donald Trump and Gov. Chris Christie were expected to address a crowd of supporters Thursday evening at the New Jersey National Guard Armory.

Trump is holding his first political fundraiser to help Christie pay down a $400,690 debt from his aborted run for president. He is also appearing at a separate $25,000-per-ticket event to benefit the state’s Republican Party.

Outside, about 200 demonstrators protested the GOP presidential frontrunner and Christie.
