Watch a man illegally detained for filming traffic stop

Joseph Ferrante was illegally detained in Jersey City for filming a traffic stop. Not his own. He was simply on the street, came upon a traffic stop, and with everything controversial that's gone on in this country concerning police he decided he would quietly stand to the side, not interfering in any way, and just record.

The officer, Ramon Aponte, came over and questioned him, told him he wasn't allowed to record (a lie), then illegally detained him for over ten minutes. What's even worse is at the end when the supervisor shows up and told Ferrante he was free to leave (apparently the supervisor actually understood what the law is on this matter) he lies and claims Ferrante was never detained. A total joke considering Aponte is on video clearly stating Ferrante is being detained. Check out this video and answer our poll question below.
